The first ad is a perfect example of how advertisements are trying to push a certain image. “We have a hot new look…you can too.” This ad for the pill that will make you have the new hot pill, is attempting to make you believe that you will have the body of the guy in the ad. The use of the word Xtreme is also trying to make you believe that its better than the other fat burners/muscle builders being advertised. The fire in the background is also trying to emphasize the “hot” image.

The next two ads are promoting confidence and a younger look. The target can be for both older and younger women. There is a “older” woman on the first ad which will attract possibly the middle aged women looking to feel better and look younger. The second ad promotes younger skin and it also has a younger woman on it to attract younger woman looking for clear skin. “Goodbye dryness and blackheads” will influence girls to believe that they can be the girl on the ad and that blackheads and dryness are so horrible and should be rid of forever. I’m sure no one really wants dryness or poor skin but advertisements have added to the negative reaction to acne or poor skin.
